SoulCollage® is a simple collage process using

 5" x 8" cards.  You may choose to intuitively select images  (perhaps just because the image is beautiful), or you may create a very purposeful collage with images of important people or specific places to you.   The process of SoulCollage® includes a commitment to fun while discovering more about yourself.  The SoulCollage® Experience at La Santuaria is led by an Art Therapist & SoulCollage®  Facilitator who will guide you through simple creative process that you may continue to build an understanding of internal resources that support your personal development.

The Open Studio is a creative experience where we meet together, set intentions, work, play, invent, and reflect.  It's a non-judgmental creative space and process that re-engages our commitment to active imagination, using specific art materials based on our self-assessed needs in the Expressive Therapies Continuum.  My years of experience include working with people who who have found the open studio to be supportive in recovery from Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Grief & Loss.  The Open Studio as an approach in art therapy is not one unified method of working, but rather an array of diverse practices that place art as our focus.  A possible outcome of our work in Open Studio is understanding that our life follows our art.

El Duende Painting is a parallel painting process where we work together (on separate canvases).  We paint and reflect. El Duende painting is the spirit of calling on the imagination. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive. The duende, then, is a power, not a work. It is a struggle, not a thought.  El Duende may be the roots that cling to the mire that we all know, that we all ignore, but from which comes the very substance of art. 

1:1 El Duende sessions may be purchased as a package of 6 private videoconferencing sessions; each lasting 50 minutes.
